The Swansea City Council changed its support for students who are out of school or at risk of leaving mainstream education by building a new school costing £9.64 million.

When "determining" the scope of the project, the Swansea Council and the contractor designated more than 2000 square meters of Gradus carpet tiles for the project's floor elements.

They will eventually choose Streetwise Design and Stratus designs for the school’s classrooms, corridors and public areas.

Cockett (Student Referral Unit) PRU School now provides attractive and practical facilities for faculty, staff and students in one location, replacing several previously outdated accommodation units. The development project was funded by the Swansea City Council and the Welsh Government under the 21st Century Schools and Colleges Program, and was constructed by Kier Construction.
